A Bit About Me
Loving words has been a thing for me since elementary school. Saying, using and dropping word bombs with them let me know that words matter.
I was comforted and affirmed in middle school when I saw a girl at my bus stop reading a book while waiting. Our conversation revealed that she read one every week. We become fast friends and although my reading appetite wasn't as big as hers, I did read my fair share during middle school.
High school was a mixed bag of advanced literature in English, my love of history and current events all made up the interest to, one day, write a book of my own.
As life would have it, reading for college courses, didn't leave a lot of time for pleasure novels and other pieces. So, it wasn't until many years later, after graduation and a teaching career, I was able to pick that interest back up and still having the desire to write a book.
I did it! I wrote several through my creative love of crochet came three crochet pattern books, and three inspirational on the same subject. Still, I'm moved to write literature and so here is where it happens. A few novels in drafts, so I'll share about them and lots of thoughts put on paper (yes, I always begin with pen and paper) for short stories.
Grab a cup of coffee, tea or even a glass of wine as you sit back and enjoy the complimentary short stories, as I share my novel writing journey and book releases.
